The Laguna Madre Yacht Club is fortunate to be located in Port Isabel – the wonderful seaside town that also serves as the entry to South Padre Island – the vacation paradise of Texas. The area is known for wonderful bay sailing, fair winds and the benefits of off-shore sailing with day and overnight trips to a number of locations across the Gulf of Mexico.

South Padre Island is connected to Port Isabel via a two mile bridge and offers family activities, boating, sailing, night clubs, a large number of hotels, condos and other lodging for small and large groups alike. Known for its long, clean sandy beaches, the island offers opportunities for nature hikes by day, fine restaurants for dinner and fireworks in the evening.
